I have always wanted to be a scientist, motivated by popular figures like Neil deGrasse Tyson. Currently, I’m doing an MSc in physics, and I'm also planning to pursue a PhD. However, I am aware of the situation in academia, which doesn’t concern most of my colleagues, but it has always concerned me, and still does. I often think about the possibility of becoming a victim of the corruption in academia. It's not that the institutions are unaware of the issues, but there is so much politics involved that it almost feels like it can't be fixed. Now, I’m concerned about whether I should pursue a PhD or not. I think academia is also the reason behind what scientists have been saying for many years: 'physics in crisis.'

I'm a student, and my thoughts are grounded in scientific facts. I want to maintain this approach as I search for new insights.
